Clock Removal

Well its not as bad as the picture, but sometimes it seems that way. For all Z cars 70-84, you do not have to remove the dash to gain access to the clock.

240Z-

Remove the glove box to remove and install clock. Remove 8mm screw/bolt on clock bracket, disconnect light socket, and two electrical connections (blue and black wires). Push clock into dash and remove through glove box.

280Z-

Remove vent panel under three center gauges(4 screws), remove vent, remove center duck brackets on left and right side (2 screws each side-total of 4 screws), remove center duct, remove one screw under clock, push bracket back into dash, squeeze electrical connector with thumb and fore finger while pulling on connector. Push clock back into dash and remove through center vent opening.

280ZX-

Remove glove box. On left side top of glove box opening remove large electrical connector, remove large phillips screw, pull clock cluster out through glove box.
