As a 280Z owner for more than 25 years I have replaced or repaired almost every part on my car.
Through my own experience I have refurbished over 400 plus clocks in the last 5 years and developed a very reliable replacement for the Datsun 240-280Z clock mechanism.
The first 240Z quartz clock I designed was a real challenge, but has made lot of 240Z owners very happy. This is a very clean conversion and preserves all the original parts less the mechanical mechanism..... and no "AA" batteries.
Attached are pictures of a rare 1970 Fairlady Rally clock. I have refurbished many of these and they are truly unique.To my knowledge I am the only one who works on this particular clock with any regularity. I have the only known schematic and I make 90% of the parts I replace. Spare parts for these clocks are non-existant because not many of these clocks were produced. This early clock is very delicate and for those trying to perform self repair I would not risk the clock to inexperienced hands. If you want it done right please contact me at.......Zclocks.com
